Colour cast

A colour cast is a uniform discolouration across the entire image, typically caused by incorrectly set white balance or the the inappropriate use of a lens filter. In most cases it can be remedied either when processing the Raw file, by a subsequent white balance adjustment in postprocessing, or by the application of the converse filter in postprocessing.
