Nikonians® Uploader for Mac

Nikonians Uploader for Mac is a MacOS application allowing you to easily upload images to the Nikonians galleries directly from your Mac, including resizing images and perform minor processing prior to uploading. It is available for free via this link to Nikonians on a Silver membership or higher.

If you are having issues installing the app

Make sure you are using a version that is compatible with the version of your MacOS. Nikonians Uploader V1.4.0 and later should install without any complaints on newer MacOS versions, from MacOS Catalina and up.

Note for older MacOS versions: If you are using an older MacOS, e.g. MacOS Lion (Mac OS X 10.7) up to and including El Capitan (10.11), please revert to Nikonians Uploader V1.3.2. Using this older version, you need to change the Apple / Preferences / Security & Privacy setting bottom left corner of the security settings pane in MacOS to "App store and identified developers". How to change your password in the Uploader app

If you need to change password, you can only do that in the Nikonians.org community in "My Profile" under "Password" tab. Then logout from the Uploader (menu: Nikonians Uploader/Logout) and enter your authentication data again.

THE NIKONIAN™ eZine

THE NIKONIAN™ is Nikonians® official publication, available as an app for ebook readers, smartphones and tablets. It is also available for online reading for Nikonians Silver members and higher.

The ezine issues provided within these apps are free of charge to Nikonians Silver members and higher, just remember to login to the app to be entitled for accessing the issues.

Older issues, prior to Issue #57 are free to all readers using any of the apps.

PLEASE NOTE (update 17-APR-2017): A "forbidden" text is shown in the bottom part of the app. This does not influence its operation and comes from our own advertising server (used to be advertising in the area where the text is now shown).

Annotate Expert™ for Windows

Note: Annotate Expert has been retired and is no longer available for later Windows versions. This information here is kept as reference for users with older Window systems.

Annotate Expert™ is a free software that allows you to tag images, place keywords and comments that are bound to certain parts of the image, to highlight parts of the image by placing "virtual crops" and to share your images with others very easily.

It is currently available for MS Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7.

Nikonians® mGallery

Note: mGallery has been discontinued on iOS. The mGallery for Android should behave well.

True to the Nikonians Motto: “Share, Learn and Inspire”, Nikonians® mGallery makes it possible to easily showcase your portfolio, stored in the Nikonians Photo Galleries to others.

You can easily upload images from your iPhone, iPad or Android device to your gallery at Nikonians.

Also as a non-Nikonian, you can use the app, browse images and bookmark your favorite photographers for easy access later.

Nikonians® DOF Calculator

Note: This app has been discontinued on iOS. It should work on Android.

Depth of Field (DOF) and Hyperfocal Distance are two very important items when it comes to getting the right amount of blur or sharpness depth in your shot. Using this app will help you to calculate these important figures and effectively improve your photography results.
