Annotate-Create a virtual crop

From Nikonians Wiki - FAQs, Photo Glossary, Good Photo Locations, Help

Jump to: navigation, search

You can further create a virtual crop to either highlight an area in the image while shading out the rest, or to propose an alternative crop of the image. Create a crop in the image by switching to the “Crop” tab.

A virtual crop has been created in the image, the rest of the image is shaded. Virtual crops are good to show someone how a certain crop would affect the composition of the image. The cropped part of the image will be highlighted whereas the area outside of the crop will be darkened.

You switch between the “Crop” and “Annotate” modes by clicking on the corresponding tab (“Annotate” / “Crop”) in the top part of the main window
