Centre of interest
From Nikonians Wiki
In composition, a centre of interest is anywhere that visual cues lead the eye. A complex picture may have many centres of interest. If the image is composed well, these will act together to produce a coherent whole. If the image is composed poorly, they will form distracting competing interest.
