Desktop publishing
From Nikonians Wiki
Desktop publishing is the computer preparation of layout for print, often through commercial offset litho reproduction, or on a digital press or laser printer.
The main commercial desktop publishing applications are QuarkXpress and Adobe Indesign. There are a large number of budget applications, such as Serif PagePlus.
