The SB-12 Speedlight was introduced in 1980 together with the F3 SLR camera. It is the first Speedlight to offer TTL auto and was designed to work specifically with the F3. Can be used together with SW-4 'Wide-Flash Adaptor'. Provided seven "auto ranges" and manual at full power. Can be used off-camera with standard Flash PC connection in manual mode only.
This is quite a flimsy, small device at 350g made for direct connection at the F3's hot shoe.
