NikoniansUploader
From Nikonians Wiki
The Nikonians Uploader is a free Mac OS X application available for Nikonians on a Silver membership or higher, allowing you to easily upload images to the Nikonians galleries directly from your Mac. You can download the Nikonians Uploader in the Nikonians Rewards Program section.
The Nikonians Uploader application is only available for Macintosh users, running on Mac OS X 10.5 (Mac OS X Leopard) or higher. If you are a MS Windows user, you can use our Annotate Expert application instead. Annotate Expert's upload feature covers the same functionality as the Nikonians Uploader.
With the uploader, you can upload one or more images easily to the Nikonians galleries. Just drag & drop the image(s) you want to upload to the open window of the application, select where they should be uploaded and hit the "Upload" button.
As soon as you hit the upload button your images will be uploaded to Nikonians. Please note that the images will be placed in the image upload queue in your gallery and that your browser will automatically open with the queue showing after the upload has been done.
You now need to fill out any additional information you want to attach to the images and then you hit the "Process" button at the bottom of the web page in your browser.
Should you want to open the upload queue in the galleries manually, simply click the button "Link to commit" and you will process the queue - if there are images still to be processed.
Images shown in main window even when uploaded OK
After the images have been uploaded they are still showing in the main window of the application. Just click the "clear" button at the bottom left corner of the application to remove them.
Creation of albums
You cannot create albums out of the uploader right now. If you want to create albums you need to do that from the regular gallery web page.
Will Nikonians Uploader support Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) or older versions?
We are currently not supporting 10.4 Tiger or older versions. The chances that we will support 10.4 are very small. This is also true for the upcoming Mac version of Annotate Expert
